Odoo offers both cloud-based and self-hosted options, high customizability, and a free Community Edition with paid options. Dynamics 365 is only cloud-based, less customizable, but is more suitable for larger enterprises. Similarly, their POS systems vary in pricing, platform, integration, customization, and support. Odoo POS is open-source with paid options, web-based, highly customizable, and integrates easily with other Odoo apps, while Dynamics 365 POS is subscription-based, desktop-based, integrates with other Microsoft products well, and offers support through standard channels.
